NCCKala Sangam
‘Kala Sangam’ is the Music and Performance Arts Training Centre of Anugrah Memorial College, Gaya. The centre was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Magadh University Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Prasad and Pro Vice Chancellor Magadh University Prof. (Dr.) V. N. Singh on December 23rd, 2020. ‘Kala Sangam’ has been envisioned by Principal Prof. (Dr.) M. Shamsul Islam to provide a cultural platform to the students of the college so their talents can blossom under correct guidance.
The centre has a diverse range of training programmes ranging from classical vocals and music to light music and ghazal. Within the few months of the establishment of the centre the students trained in Kala Sangam had the good fortune to perform and leave their mark in the Senate Meeting of the university in February, 2021. The centre is run by qualified teachers who have a diverse exposure in music and performance.
‘Kala Sangam’ is one among the many efforts organized by the institution to expand the co-curricular and extra co-curricular activities of the students and the overall academic and cultural ambience of the college.
